Ayda’s 1st Birthday Cake Smash

The perfect way to celebrate your little ones very 1st birthday – a Cake Smash photoshoot at Peekaboo by Xposure. We recently had the gorgeous Ayda in the studio with her mummy Melissa and her grandparents. They came to us through Groupon for their Cakesmash shoot. its so lovely to be a part of this milestone with babies families, we can create gorgeous portraits that you can treasure forever! Our cakesmash shoots are SO much fun, its not just baby that has a good time! We just love watching your little ones get all mucky with cake and getting some cute pictures. At the end of the Cake Smash, we put baby in a little bath tub full of bubbles and get even more cute pictures of them.
The photoshoot
Ayda’s mummy wanted whites, pinks and silver colours.This was the perfect excuse for us to showcase our gorgeous new Cake Smash backdrop! We advised Melissa not to pay for an expensive cake as it will get ruined anyway. She came with a pretty unicorn cake from Asda which was just perfect for the shoot. As always, before the photoshoot we gave Melissa a call to discuss colour themes and outfits. Ayda had the most gorgeous little outfit on for her first few pictures with her family. We then gave Melissa a tutu that we have here at the studio, this looked so pretty with the colours we used.
Ayda was such a good little girl, she was so cheeky and had the most stunning smile which we managed to capture in these pictures. Mummy and family left the studio with loads of amazing pictures of baby Ayda from her Cake Smash photoshoot, perfect to celebrate her first birthday.
