Training photoshoot

My training photoshoot.

My name is Emma and I have been a viewer at Xposure Studios for almost 9 months and have been interested in photography for about 25 years. I am currently in the process of completing an online photography course but I have never had any professional experience as I mainly take photos scenery and of my niece and nephew. So when Fiona the director gave me the opportunity of some in house training photoshoot, I jumped at the chance. 

When a very loyal client of ours chose us for her children’s fairy photoshoot and also her first ever boudoir photoshoot, I was very excited and privileged to be given the chance to shoot them.

I loved capturing the girls in lovely dresses in our enchanted garden. It was great to learn framing and how to ensure we get the best photos without any obstacles in the shot or in the way of the girls faces.

We then moved on to our clients boudoir shoot. This was absolutely amazing to shoot and learn how to pose her and ensure I got the best shot and most importantly that she felt amazing, comfortable and at ease! 

I learned so much during these 2 shoots such as lighting, posing, positioning of the camera and feel comfortable in my ability to shoot more, and I look forward to my next opportunity.
