Williams Newborn Photoshoot

Baby William came to us with his mummy and daddy, Melissa and Michael. He was just 11 days old when he visited us for his newborn photoshoot. William was amazing during his photoshoot, he was so cuddly and happy the whole way through. They booked through Catch A Glimpse, a pregnancy scanning service in Maghull. We offer a FREE bump to baby or newborn shoot in our package with them. Baby Williams mum and dad chose to do just the newborn shoot with us which gave them some time to relax whilst we looked after baby for a few hours; of course they were still in the room with us watching their gorgeous newborn!

Keeping it personal

Before the photoshoot, we gave Melissa call to see if she had any ideas in mind or any colours she would like us to use. They went with blues, greys and neutrals as this is what would fit in with their house decor. We always advise parents to think about colours that will match their house so you can showcase your gorgeous portraits on your walls. Swaddled pictures were one of their favourites so we made sure to do lots of these. Melissa and Michael brought a gorgeous baby grow with them that was once Williams dad’s when he was a newborn baby! This fit William perfectly, he looked so snug! Its always a lovely touch to bring personal and sentimental items to your newborn photoshoots!

The viewing

The viewing has to be one of our favourite parts of our newborn shoots as we get to showcase the portraits to mum and dad and any family that came with them. We always like to ask if ay other family members would like to come for the viewing to see the amazing pictures we’ve taken. This part of the shoot is often emotional, in a good way!! Melissa and Michael were made up with all of their photos after seeing them on our cinema style projector. We like to make your viewings personal to you by putting together a video of all the images we’ve taken along with baby’s date of birth, weight and time of birth. Once you have seen the video, we take you through one by one to choose your favourites; the hardest part!! But, eventually (after a lot of hard decisions) Melissa and Michael left with the most amazing images of their beautiful baby boy, William.
