Happy 10th Birthday to us!

Xposure Studios, female owned Liverpool photography business celebrates major milestone.

We celebrated a milestone birthday last weekend, our 10th birthday!!
We have been photographing clients at our city centre location for 10 years this year and we threw a party to celebrate!

I opened the studio in Wood Street’s iconic Tea Factory ten years ago and we have been creating beautiful portraits for our clients ever since. We specialise in portraits ranging from maternity and newborn shoots to family sessions and boudoir photography, whether it’s creating beautiful timeless portraits of your new baby or making women feel amazing and confident in their own skin, we do it all!

Over the past ten years we have photographed thousands of women, families and babies as well as many businesses & celebrities from across the Northwest and beyond. Some of the famous faces to be photographed at Xposure have included the likes of Geordie Shore’s Gary Beadle and his wife, model Emma McVey, Ibiza Weekender & Ex on the Beach’s Jordan Davies, social media influencer Kayleigh Johnson aka @kayleighjcouture, Union J’s Jaymi Helmsley and both Tayce and A’Whora from RuPaul’s Drag Race UK, to name just a few.

Reminiscing

The past ten years have been filled with ups and downs but none quite as challenging as the Covid lockdowns of 2020 to 2021. Like many businesses, we had to close our doors, unsure of when we would be able to open them again. The support from our loyal customers was overwhelming when we reopened our doors in April of 2021. We were so thankful to be inundated with enquiries from customers desperate to come in for cherished family photos after a difficult year. We had lots of new parents who were especially excited to get photographs of their little ones who were born during lockdown. Despite the challenges, we have been thriving ever since. We are so proud to announce that we won the title of Liverpool’s Best Luxury Photography Studio at the 2022 SME News UK Enterprise Awards.

The Celebrations

Obviously we had to celebrate this amazing milestone so we threw a 10th birthday party and invited all of our lovely customers, friends and family. It was such a good turn out and can happily say our customers have become more like friends over the years.
We celebrated with prosecco, nibbles and cake. Everyone had such a lovely time reminiscing about past years at Xposure Studios and seeing how much we have changed and improved as a business and a team.

After a very emotional speech, we all toasted to the next 10 years and hope there are many more to come!
We hope we get to celebrate another decade at our little studio. Cheers!
